Amazing Adventures – Costa Rica – Day 3

Amazing Adventures Ltd goes to Cano Negro with Desafio Adventure Company

We were off to an early start Wednesday morning. Time to grab a quick breakfast or coffee at the hotel, while the bus from Desafio waited for us. The drive to Cano Negro was an information rich journey thanks to our guide Jose. He was a plant and animal specialist and he really knew his stuff. There was some rain, there was some lunch but the most importantly, there was wildlife.

At last night’s dinner review we selected our favourite shots from yesterday as well as Tuesday. Below you will see some of the “top picks” from the group.

Huge thanks going out to Martin, Navy and Devon for all their help making these shots possible. Special thanks going out to Terry for his help Tuesday not only with the tips on ISO, aperture and shutter speed but also for helping me to navigate my way under the bridge. And thanks to Clark, for yesterday. Without Clark I would have had no shots at all. Yes folks, I left the SD card for my T4i in my laptop. Clark came to my rescue with a battery, strap, lens and monopod for the alternate camera (Canon T7 in the bag of lenses  Catherine so kindly packed for me).

This is a wonderful group with varying degrees of skill and equipment. All the help is greatly appreciated.

It was an early night for me last night. Today I should be able to get in some spa time. Hopefully I’ll get some shots of the resort for the next post.

Pura Vida!
