  1. Thanks, Trish! I just approved your blog claim. Now your Urbanspoon profile picture is displayed on your blog page. You can upload a blog-specific photo if you prefer, and can change a few other blog settings there. Also, if you vote for a restaurant that you’ve reviewed on your blog, we now show your vote next to your post everywhere on our site.

      1. In your blog? I click on the link Leanne posted and when it doesn’t go right to the photo, I have a hard time finding it in people’s blogs. Just know that I really liked it!

  2. I absolutely love the lively injection of color in your background. I would never have thought to be so bold with the background when the blog is about photographs, but it turned out beautifully. As for the photographs, they are wonderful. Great eye. I’ve really enjoyed my visit to your blog.

  3. Thanks for the kind words Jason!

When I first started posting I was using a plain black background. This graffiti shot really resonated with me and I felt compelled to include it. I felt like it meshed the “urban” and “flower girl” parts wonderfully.

  4. Hey there Newbie Spikey!
(for your info, a Spikey is the term for folk who are part of the clan known to be followers of Uncle Spike 🙂

I wanted to catch up and say “thank you… I really appreciate your ‘follow’ as I for one, know how many interesting and entertaining blogs are out there.”

Blogging since June 2013, my aim is to deliver an eclectic offering of posts, from my ‘point n shoot’ attempts at basic photography, to the sharing of my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day to day happenings here on the farm. Oh, plus a few observations, opinions and lighter-hearted stuff thrown in for good measure.

I normally keep to a couple of posts a day, maybe 3-4 at weekends if I have something special to share. But if you are at a loose end one day, maybe you’ll enjoy trawling through some of my older stuff too. I have added plenty of categories to help in said digging process.

Thanks again Trish and hope you have a great day…

  5. Congratulations on completing Blaogging101! Thanks for the comments and feedback during the course. I came across your blog on there and I enjoy your content very much. I am not a good photographer by any means but your pictures really are amazing! Thanks for sharing them🍣

    1. Thanks, I think I’m going to start Blogging201 this week. You’re welcome always happy to engage with other bloggers. Thank you for the wonderful comment. I feel like I have so much to learn and comments like this keep me from getting discouraged when things don’t go quite the way I think they should. It’s my privilege to share my photos with you.

I was excited when I saw that you were a sewer, I purchased a machine a few years ago, took a couple of intro sessions. I still find it challenging and I have a couple of dresses that need to be shortened but I’m too afraid to do it myself. Fear… I’m working on it. 😀
